A member asked:

I have diabetes, will there be complications with a legionnaires' disease?

Maybe: Diabetes makes it harder to fight off all infections and increases the likelihood of complications.

Not always: Having diabetes doesn't automatically put you at increased risk, especially if you are otherwise healthy and your diabetes is under good control. The best thing to do is to address your overall health (exercise, diet, attitude) while getting specific treatment for your diabetes and legionnaires.
