Can you tell me if a man was in contact with the agent orange in the vetnam war can this effect his children he had later?

Debated: There's little science behind it, but the us government decided to cover the expenses of children with major neural tube defects born to vietnam veterans. I believe this was justified by the needs of these veterans. The vietnamese government of course claims an enormous effect but once again, there's little science and much emotion. Don't be afraid that a veteran is less likely to be a sound dad.
