A member asked:

Can you tell me how can female hormones affect the laxity of the ligaments and why?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No major effect: Only during the third trimester of pregnancy, may ligaments in the pelvic floor become somewhat relaxed, but in general, conventional endogenous female hormones will not affect ligaments
