HEAF: The HEAF (multi-puncture) test is used to identify people wi tuberculosis infections or diseases. Tuberculin (undiluted purified protein derivative) is applied to the arm wi 6 needle points. The area is usually checked for reaction a week later. Don't know if anyone uses this particular test anymore.

Heaf test like TINE: The tine test is similar if not the same but it is read in 1 to 3 days while the heaf is 2 - 7 days. We mainly use the Mantoux test or the Tuberculin - PPD.
