I cut myself on a pocket knife, do i need tetanus shot?

Maybe: A cut is a cut and any cut could allow tetanus spores to become embedded where they can start an infection. If you have had a tetanus shot within 10 years you are protected, and just washing out the cut should be sufficient. If not, it is time to consider it.
