A member asked:

Are dangerous breast lumps likely to occur against the body, or usually in fatty breast tissue? i'm only 25. don't want to overreact.

Mammogram: If you feel a lump, see if it changes over the course of your menstral cycle. Benign lumps change size with your period. Hard non mobile lumps with skin changes or any bleeding from the nipple need quick evaluation. It is not where the lump is located, it is what they feel like that counts. Any concern...See your doctor for a breast exam. Especially if you have family history of breast cancer!
