Zestoretic (lisinopril and hydrocholorthiazide): Zestoretic (lisinopril and hydrocholorthiazide) contains an ingredient (acei) which can cause coughing in a small percentage of the people. You need to stop the Lisinopril and ask your doctor to try you on something like an arb type of drug instead. Even after you have stopped lisinopril, it may take weeks before the cough subsides. There may be other causes however.
