Normal or infection: It is normal for a woman to have some amount of vaginal discharge that can be white to cream to yellow colored. It is more likely for this to be an infection if there is itching, irritation or an unpleasant odor. If a woman is having a discharge that is different than usual that doesn't go away she probably needs to get an exam to figure out what is going on. Could also be a cervical polyp.
