Possible pregnancy: Given that you are late for a period and hpt was inconclusive, it is possible you are pregnant but the hormone levels aren't high enough to show up on the test. You might want to repeat the test in 4-5 days. Also a chance of a very early miscarriage, in which case the period should come soon and may be some heavier than usual.
