What can waking up from anesthesia feel like?

It depends: There is a variety of ways patients wake up from anesthesia: some happy, some anxious, some high, some sad, some sleepy and some refreshed (to mention a few). It depends on person and/or medications used, length of anesthetic, surgery performed, etc.

In the middle of sx: Do you mean waking up in the middle of surgery or afterwards. Waking up in the middle of surgery if you are receiving general anesthesia is rare. The standard wakeup after surgery feels like a fog and you may feel slightly weak.
