Lots . . .: Decreased appetite, anxiety, trouble with sleep initiation, altered mood, altered belief in individual capabilities and risk of attempting things you might not; some risk of provoking mania or psychosis in individuals with underlying (but asympotmatic) mood disorders. On plus side, even in absence of ADD, will help focus thinking and increase speed of resolving 'thought' problems (e.g. math).

How drug works: Increaes NE & especially doapmine actiions by blocking their reuptake & facilitating their release. Enhances dopamine & NE actions in --dorsolaeral prefrontal cortex-may improve attention, concentration, executive function,& wakefulness. Enhances dopamine actions in basal ganglia-- improves hyperactivity. Enhances dopamine/NE in brain regions-MFC, hypothalmus-improves dep., fatigue & sleepiness.
