Persistent Neck pain: Neck pain can be stem from many causes. A muscle spams, a muscle sprain. A problem with the nerve root as in a pinched nerve or radiculopathy. It could be due to stress tension, anxiety. It could also be associated with other issues such as chronic migraines, shoulder problems etc. See a doctor and get evaluated so that a diagnostic and treatment plan can be recommended to you.

Evaluate Neck: If you are not improving have your doctor order a cervical spine mri. Many times a herniated disc in the neck can cause arm pain especially if you have not improved with the medications and physical therapy. If it is a herniated disc you may need evaluation from a spine specialist to determine what other options might be needed (injections, surgery, etc) to help reduce pain.
