Probably a few weeks: Circumcision in a teen usually causes local pain and sensitivity. Most folks would use an antibacterial ointment and good hygiene for a few weeks. The pain and soreness should get better. Since everyone's pain threshold is different, some may experience pain for a longer time. Signs of trouble could be worsening redness or any pus -- if so, get examined again!
