Could cerebral palsy affect homeostasis?

CP: Cerebral palsy as you may know is a disease that results from an anoxic injury to the brain usually during childbirth. The resultant sequelae of this injury are hyper spasticity to lower extremities abnormal muscle function and in general loss of motion at the joints. This condition usually impairs the patients mobility and overall function. Homeostasis is a term that refers to the maintenance of function of a cell or organ system.
