Yes: In canada it is occasionally used for that purpose. As someone who is personally allergic to even second hand marijuana smoke and develops extreme asthma symptoms from it, i would not by any means recommend that you inhale marijuana. No: No, medical marijuana will not help with asthma. Smoking anything else is not likely to help either.
