Possible lipoma: Not exactly sure, but when you describe something as feeling fatty, that is the description of a lipoma. This is a soft benign tumor of the fatty tissues of the scalp. It is under the skin, and can appear as a lump under the scalp. If it grows or becomes painful, these are often removed.
