A member asked:

Do i have a latex allergy or glue allergy if tape leaves a rash on me?

Not necessarily: You could be allergic to the adhesive in the tape, or the tape fabric itself, or something else. The only way to know for sure is to see a dermatologist or allergist for patch testing.

Contact allergy: Most of the time it is latex allergy. There r non-latex medical tapes. U can find them in all pharmacies. Some has a paper backing. Try those. If u don't develop a rash, then u r allergic to latex. When in doubt, consult a dermatologist or allergist for patch testing.
