Good question: Sjogren's is an autoimmune disease that can affect the brain. There have been reports of its effects on peripheral nerves and also reports of multiple sclerosis type lesions seen on MRI scans suggesting an autoimmune effect on cerebral tissue. There are also some alterations of the inteleukins in the csf. Although not proven, perhaps in some way this leads to impedence of CSF absorption/icp issues.
