Emla (lidocaine and prilocaine): Emla (lidocaine and prilocaine) topical cream: Lidocaine and prilocaine. It is used on normal skin to prevent pain before certain procedures such as inserting a needle, skin grafts, or skin laser surgery. In dentistry intraorally is used off label.
