A member asked:

If antibiotics are required for the gut, do blood tests always show there is something wrong? ruq pain got doctors stumped, waiting for specialist

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Nonspecific : Right upper quadrant pain suggests liver or gallbladder problems. Ask about biliary dyskinesia, and having the test called a cck hida scan. It's important to know however that if you have the test, make sure you ask the technologist to tell the radiologist whether or not the cck injection reproduced your symptoms.
