Cervix: If your finger goes all the way inside your vagina, you may be touching your cervix -- the hard end of your muscular uterus. It should not hurt when touched. If your finger is not all the way inside your vagina, then the hardness you're feeling needs to be checked by your doctor to make sure all is well.
