Congested ear: There could be a variety of causes which include wax or foreign body in ear canal, fluid in the middle ear behind the eardrum, swelling of the eustachian tube which leads from the back of the throat to the middle ear, and other causes. You should see an ENT doctor for exam and possibly a hearing test.
