No: Postnasal drips do not cause inflamed tonsils or enlarged lymph nodes . If you have both of these symptoms, you are likely suffering from a cold. As for allergy to dust, consider getting mite-proof encasing to cover the box spring, mattress, and pillows. Allergy shots may be needed if your symptoms are not easily controlled by medications such as antihistamine +/- a decongestant.
