Boxer Fracture: The common story here is that this is one of the most frequent causes of fracture. Pounding on something when one is angry is a common problem on how to hurt oneself. I would hope this is just an injury that is not a fracture, but if the pain persists you may want to get an x-ray to see if the bones need to be realigned or casted. Lesson learned: deal with anger in healthy ways.
