23 weeks preg. i feel some pain in lower abdomen since last wk.doctr prescribed proluton depot injectn 500mg(4 weeks).is this safe? any harm to my baby?

Progesterone : Progesterone injections are often used weekly for the prevention of preterm labor in patients with a previous pregnancy complicated by preterm labor starting around 15 weeks -35 weeks. This is a common practice. Progesterone is generally not given for abdominal pain. Ask your doctor to clarify the rationale for this course of action.
