Not sure: If tobacco lungs means chronic bronchitis(copd) your physican can probably test you for whether its asthma or copd. In either case -i kown this is easier said that done- you should quit and quit now!. Wheter bronchitis or asthma tobacco smoking only makes it worse. There are many apps on line for smoking cessation. Look into them. Good luck.

Maybe both?: They are not mutually exclusive and tobacco can make asthma MUCH worse. More importantly, there is no way we can answer this question online. We can tell you about your diagnosis but cannot make a good diagnosis online without taking a history, performing an exam, and in some cases additional tests needed to know the difference. Its why the internet shouldn't be your doctor.

How would we know ??: The questions you ask on the public Healthtap are somewhat limited in scope. From the wording I suspect you uploaded some personal information or x-rays, none of which are visible to site consultants.Your questions are also not linked, so if this is a follow-up, it doesn't link to something that would make sense. If you a prime member and find a doc, they can access this info.
