The side effects of norvasc (amlodipine) freak me out. is anyone familiar with this drug?

Norvasc (amlodipine): This drug is a calcium channel blocker we use for hypertension. It is very effective. Its main side effect because of vasodilation is lower extremity swelling, but there are others too. If you think you are having side effects, contact your doctor.
