Allergic to aspirin?: Why can't you use it? It contains salicylic acid, which is in the aspirin family of drugs (which include ibuprofen and naprosyn (naproxen) and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). If you are allergic to this class, you should not use this topical preparation.
