Need more info: Leukemia can be diagnosed reliably by blood and/or bone marrow biopsy. Hematolopathologist is the specialist involved in the diagnosis of various leukemia. If leukemia is diagnosed, either acute or chronic, there are many ways to manage or treat depending on the specific diagnosis. Acute leukemia requires immediate chemotherapy. Some chronic leukemia does not require tx. Some just need a pill.
