33-50%: Steven johnson syndrome is very uncommon. Without knowing history, in general risk of cancer over lifetime is 50% in men and 1 in 3 in women. Chance of death is 100%. Death will be from something. Most likely heart disease or cancer if one lives long enough and has not contracted an infection or had an accident.
