Varies with type of: Infection. Different stds have different incubation periods and have different tests. It would be prudent to see your doctor and discuss your concerns and a schedule for tests. For HIV alone there are three different types of tests and it would be useful to have your doctor guide the testing process. See this site for info on hiv. http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/basics/testing.html.

Please Clarify: I am not sure of your concern if the condom functioned perfectly. Condoms are very good barrier protection against the risk of hiv. If the condom did not fail, why are you concerned? If you feel the risk of HIV is high then a good and experienced physician can help you prevent infection after exposure if you act within 72 hours. There are various tests and experts can guide you in person.
