Pregnancy test: In this situation if there is any possibility of pregnancy the first thing i recommend is taking a first morning home pregnancy test. It is common for many women to still get cramping and even some times some light flow even if pregnant. Cervical mucus also does change with pregnancy. There are other reasons such as stress that can cause a period to be missed or late but rule out pregnancy first.

6 days late: Your discharge sounds normal. However, if you having a continual clear discharge that may be caused by ruptured membranes and leakage of amniotic fluid. A bit of cramping can be a prodromal sign of early labor.
