Probably fine: With hormonal fluctuations (going on or off bcp's for example) vaginal secretions can often change in thickness and quantity. If you are having any pain or itching, otherwise this may normalize with subsequent cycles.

Hormone change: Bcps change your cervical mucous consistency to a thicker one - one of the ways they prevent conception. Changing back to your normal hormonal levels will change the consistency to a thinner one which may allow it to drain or discharge more easily.
