HPV Vaccine: Actually this is the most important thing you can do for your health right now. So, yes, absolutely. The vaccine, is to protect against the four hpv viruses that cause 95% of the cervical (not ovarian) cancers. This virus is also known to cause rectal and throat cancer. All, regardless of gender, age or hpv history should get this vaccine!

Consider it: The current HPV vaccine (Gardasil 9) helps protect against the 7 strains of HPV responsible for most (not all ) cervical cancer. (cervix is at the front end of the uterus). It can reduce the chances you will ever face that disease. It is covered by many insurers for women 9-26. The benefit should be obvious.
