The vaccine, is to protect against the four hpv viruses that cause 95% of the cervical (not ovarian) cancers. This virus is also known to cause rectal and throat cancer. All, regardless of gender, age or hpv history should get this vaccine!

Consider it: The current HPV vaccine (Gardasil 9) helps protect against the 7 strains of HPV responsible for most (not all ) cervical cancer. (cervix is at the front end of the uterus). It can reduce the chances you will ever face that disease. It is covered by many insurers for women 9-26. The benefit should be obvious.
