You probably did.: When you use a dull razor blade you have to push harder to cut through the hair. This leads to scraping off skin as well. A rusty blade is a dull blade. Have you had a tetanus shot in the last 10 years? If the answer is 'no' or you don't know - then you should get a tetanus shot. Take care.
