Check immunity: Thrush is considered an opportunistic infection, meaning it will generally only infect people who have an immune system weakened by infection, medications or primary immune deficiency. It is generally not transmitted sexually in otherwise healthy people unless a previous infection was not completely cured. An immune evaluation by your doctor would be wise.
