Palpitations: They can be serious. But, most humans have palpitations. Many of us do not pay enough attention to know it though. Here is some good advice: if you have other symptoms with your palpitations such as shortness of breath, chest pain, numbness in your teeth or if the palpitations persist for more than a few seconds you may well go see your family doctor to discuss. If they seem severe call 911.
