Please don't do: Self surgery. You could hemorrhage, develop a serious infection ; cause significant tissue/ nerve damage. Leave extraction of wisdom teeth to dentists and oral surgeons. They have the training to safely extract teeth.

Safe: Normally a few day of discomfort - then back to normal. Any operation can have complications. Rare however. Make sure you see a board certified oral surgeon.

I hope you don't mean removing them yourself. That could easily morph into life altering or life threatening complications. If you mean having them removed by a professional because of high risk of pathology, the few days of post-surgical healing is reasonable when compared to the grief that failure not treat isn produce. See your Dentist or specialist Oral Surgeon for advice.
