Flatulence: Bowel gas (flatus) is a product of bacteria digesting our food. In order to minimize the amount of gas produced, it is wise to eat bland foods such as raw fruits and vegetables. Include basic grains and plenty of water to stay hydrated. Eating too much fiber or processed foods may increase your gas, making you uncomfortable. You might also try over the counter simethicone products.
