2-3. Weeks: It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks to kick in. Some people do experience an increase in libido on wellbutrin (bupropion) . If you happen to have bipolar disorder there is a marginal chance that it could cause hypomania or mania, so make sure that your increase in libido is not part of a broader picture of developing mania while on wellbutrin (bupropion).
