Fiber: Once a day isn't bad, as long as your stools aren't too hard. A high fiber diet (fruits, vegetables, whole grains) should help a lot. If it's not enough, a daily fiber supplement (psyllium, as in metamucil, citrucel, or fibercon) can be added.
