Not as good: Yes, they are known for a natural whitener. Aacd (american academy of cosmetic dentistry) has issued an article on strawberries as teeth-whitening food, too. However, the "whitening" mechanism is quite different from professional types, which use peroxide-based agents. Strawberries are acidic at ph 3.0 - 3.9, which is thought to remove stains from enamel. Not a tooth-friendly method, however.

Personally: I doubt it. I don't believe everything i read. The test of time has shown that to be true again and again. If you want whiter teeth, i would recommend that you see a dentist for a professional cleaning, and then discuss your options. I think you will get a quicker and better result that way. If you want to try the 'strawberry' method, good luck and let us know what happens. I have an open mind.
