It depends what: That pill was , most pills have a generic , some don't , please ask your gyn, and remember sometimes the pharmacy will switch u to a generic that will not have the same strength or kind of hormone in it as the original brand pill so that is really not a generic for that specific pill if the pharmacy does that.
