How do you deal with unusual clumsiness?

Get it checked out.: New problems with coordination and balance should be investigated. Some medications can cause sedation or drowsiness that makes someone less crisp in their activity or gait. Some laboratory abnormalities can cause balance or motor problems. If all else checks out ok, then get an MRI or ct of head, neck and back to exclude structural problem.

See your doctor: If you are e trouble walking (clumsy legs), or dropping things (weak, clumsy hands and arms) see your physician as soon as possible for a good examination. It might be a problem with the brain or spinal cord. If it is changing quickly, go to the emergency room.
