Not really : This is an autoimmune disorder of the neuromuscular junction, and although affects cranial nerves, especially eye muscles, there is no direct effect on cognition or emotions. However, some of the medications employed to treat this problem may have such side effects, and there may be co-morbidities affecting thyroid or b-12 metabolism. Need to have this checked.
