It should be higher: Your pregnancy hormone level usually doubles every 2-3 days until 16 weeks of pregnancy. Especially during the first weeks of pregnancy. Your answer depends on how far along you are and what the level is. Have you had an ultrasound? As long as there is an established pregnancy in your uterus with a heartbeat over 120 beats per minute its ok, if not worry about a tubal pregnancy or failed pregnancy.

Depends: On how far along you are. Early on it should be going up. As you get further on in the pregnancy it levels off. Check with your OB who can give you a more definitive answer based on your dates.
