Please help! i have some type of rash on my chin and was wondering if it was okay to use retin a (tretinoin) in those areas still or if it would irritate the rash more?

Depends on rash: If the rash is acne-like, then the retin a (tretinoin) should be put on. However, if there is an open rash, drainage, crusting or any type of open sores, you would be wise to avoid use of the medication there and get the rash checked out to see if any other type of treatment is indicated.
