Bowel obstruction how long to heal?

Depends: Did you have surgery to treat the obstruction? Were you hospitalized and treated medically only? Are you describing bowel constipation? Takes 4-6 weeks to recover from surgery. Takes a few days to recover after medical treatment. Would need much more detailed medical information to answer further.

6+ weeks to heal: You have a bowel obstruction. After surgery you will need 6-8 weeks to heal. The body will heal with collagen. This will reach its maximum strength at 6-8 weeks. You should be feeling better much sooner and your surgeon will review the finding for the cause of obstruction. Optimize your nutrition and avoid any smoking.
