It May Be Normal: It is hard to be sure without an exam, but it may be normal. It may be an area of increased vascular/blood vessels. If it is not sore, you have no other symptoms, and it stays the same (does not change, get bigger, ulcerate, etc.), you may be able to just watch it. It may disappear on it's own. If you start getting other symptoms or it changes in size, color, shape, etc., get it checked.
