Hysterectomy, mood: I do not believe that getting hysterectomy will improve your mood except where your mood is due to the discomfort from ademyosis as you mentioned. If you have a mood issue i will suggest you consult with your psychiatrist before embarking on a hysterectomy. If you were prescribed prozac, (fluoxetine) continue until a psychiatrist advises for or against it and or recommends future treatment. Good luck.
